Jimi spent a long time operating a forklift in a large warehouse at another company in Etten-Leur, until a friend asked him at a party why he didn’t apply for a job at ABF. Now, he has been part of our warehouse team for five years.
“It’s actually a funny story. At a birthday party, we were chatting about work, as you often do, of course. I started to feel that my job as a forklift operator was getting a bit boring. Then suddenly a friend of mine said; why don’t you apply at ABF?

“After that, things moved pretty quickly. After our first conversation, I had a good feeling about the company. ABF is a good company that takes good care of its staff, and I work in the best team with very nice colleagues. Together, we ensure that we properly record the incoming goods in the system so that the stock levels are correct and sales can always continue.
I’m glad that five years ago I thought nothing ventured, nothing gained. Now I go to work every day with great pleasure because I know that no one here feels too good to help each other out.”
