We all start our day at 08:30 a.m., grab a good cup of coffee or tea and say our goodmornings before getting ready to make it a successful day. As a team lead, you will lead by example and come with initiatives to develop their knowledge and business. You show them how a good purchase is done and coach them on the job to help them improve their selves. You have an appointment with a supplier, and you take one of the employees with you. After that you need to follow up on some suppliers and make sure everything is going well. At the end of the day you make sure all checks in the system are done and all reports are conclusive.
Making the job a success with your people. You are not a typical manager but leads by example and organizes the department. Making sure to manage the expectations in your team and motivate them to be the best they can be. The ambition you have is focused on the development of the team and create opportunities to purchase the best in the market in a proactive way. The Sales department is counting on you, so you make sure they know what is going on and actively organize a stream of information towards them.
