Job description

Do you recognise new opportunities, and do you know how to seize them? In this position you combine acquisition of new suppliers with buying technical products from companies within the DACH-region


What you will be doing

You will be buying technical products and you are involved during the whole process. You actively search for new suppliers and spend a lot of time on the phone. An up-to-date administration of the progress of your activities is important. You will negotiate about the prices, close the deal and arrange transport to our warehouse in Roosendaal. All steps during this process need to be documented in our ERP-system JD-Edwards. You will also maintain contact with your existing customers, and travel to these companies once a month, on average, to see whether a case is interesting enough to close the deal. As you will be responsible for the DACH-region, you’ll be travelling to Germany, Austria and Switzerland regularly.

Our experienced team consists of 5 purchasers who, when combined, can speak 10 different languages! You will be part of the team and together with one other colleague, responsible for the DACH-region.

Who are you

  • You can speak and write in German and English
  • If necessary, we can brush up your German with a course
  • 2-5 years of work experience in a commercial position
  • We no longer have to tell you how to attract new customers over the phone!
